East Buchanan scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to the Prince of Peace Prep Irish at home by a 89-73 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Irish: they've now lost five in a row.

East Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Prince of Peace Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Buchanan will take on Maquoketa Valley at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Maquoketa Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something East Buchanan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prince of Peace Prep, they will welcome Lisbon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lisbon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Prince of Peace Prep likes a good challenge.
