Basketball Recap: Moundridge Wildcats vs. Inman Inman Teutons
The Moundridge Wildcats lost to the Inman Inman Teutons last Friday, but the Moundridge Wildcats didn't allow the Inman Inman Teutons the same satisfaction on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Moundridge made off with a 46-45 win over the Inman Teutons. The win made it back-to-back wins for Moundridge.
Leading Moundridge to victory were Macy Kaminkow and Cammi Unruh. Kaminkow dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Unruh scored 13 points along with six assists and four steals. Unruh has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Patrick, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Moundridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Inman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moundridge's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Marion focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. As for Inman, they will head out on the road to challenge the Celtics on Monday. Trinity is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
