Volleyball Recap: Morgan County Bulldogs vs. Ringgold Tigers
Morgan County extended their postseason success on Saturday against Ringgold. Everything went their way against the Ringgold Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on seven straight.
The victory didn't come easy: Ringgold scored at least 16 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-16, 25-9.
Morgan County can attribute much of their success to Camryn Scherer, who had 13 digs.
Morgan County couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 48.4% of their attack attempts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ringgold only posted a hitting percentage of 7.8%.
Morgan County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 25 of their last 27 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 36-4 record this season. As for Ringgold, their loss dropped their record down to 29-18.
After both having extra time off, Morgan County and Savannah Arts Academy will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Savannah Arts Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Morgan County surely won't give up without a fight. Ringgold does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
