West Broward entered their tilt with Pompano Beach on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Golden Tornadoes. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Golden Tornadoes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

West Broward was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 20-25, 25-18.

West Broward's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Pompano Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. West Broward will challenge Mater Lakes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pompano Beach, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coconut Creek at 6:00 p.m. on October 6.
