Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kearny). They breezed past the Hamilton Bobcats to the tune of 56-12 on Friday. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Komets had established a 36-point advantage.

Kearny got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jared Torres out in front who rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also caught one TD. Another rusher making a difference was Jaylen Hill, who gained 139 total yards and three touchdowns.

Kearny's run defense was locked in: Hamilton could only muster 3.3 yards per carry. While three picked up at least one total tackle, Torres stood above the rest. He rushed for 95 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries, and also caught one touchdown. Kearny didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.9.

Although Hamilton took the loss, they still got scores from Kaidin Johnson and Jaden Garcia.
