Baseball Recap: Conrad Weiser Comes Up Short

Conrad Weiser had lost eight straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-13 to make it nine. They came up short against the Twin Valley Raiders, falling 8-0. If the Scouts were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Twin Valley, their record now sits at 7-5. With that win, they brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

For Twin Valley's part, Logan Crunk was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave Crunk a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nate Lord, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Coming up, Conrad Weiser will be playing at home against Pottsville at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twin Valley, they will head out to face off against Wyomissing at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
