Basketball Game Preview: Seneca Indians vs. La Farge Wildcats

Seneca is 9-1 against La Farge since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Seneca Indians will square off against the La Farge Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. Seneca knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully La Farge likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Seneca got the win against Weston by a conclusive 77-52. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, La Farge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 79-47 defeat at the hands of North Crawford. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Trojans are ranked 101st).

Seneca has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for La Farge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Seneca came up short against La Farge when the teams last played back in January, falling 84-78. Can Seneca avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
