            Softball Recap: Kennard-Dale Rams vs. Eastern York Golden Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Kennard-Dale waltzed into their matchup  on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with  a   7-3  win over the Eastern York Golden Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  1-0  on April 9th.

 Taryn Ashenfelter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Elaina Zabkowski, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hailey Serruto, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
Kennard-Dale's record now sits at 16-2. As for Eastern York, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kennard-Dale is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Susquehannock  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Rams 2.4, the Warriors 3.6) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Eastern York will  face off against  rival Dover  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday.
