Basketball Game Preview: Brown County Eagles vs. Cloverdale Clovers

Brown County is on a five-game streak of home losses, Cloverdale a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Brown County Eagles will host the Cloverdale Clovers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Saturday, Brown County had to suffer through a 63-19 loss at the hands of Sullivan. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Golden Arrows are ranked 89th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-24, which was the final score in Cloverdale's tilt against Indian Creek on Friday.

Cloverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Brown County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Brown County took their win against Cloverdale when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 62-42. Will Brown County repeat their success, or does Cloverdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
