Preview: Pueblo vs. Flagstaff
The Pueblo Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Flagstaff Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, Pueblo rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Titans. Even though Pueblo was hit with a red card (from Juan Gonzalez), the team's aggressive strategy still got them the 'W'.
Pueblo was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jesus Villasenor and
Diego Resendiz, who scored all three of Pueblo's goals. The pair have combined for a total of ten so far this season.
Meanwhile, Flagstaff put another one in the bag two weeks ago to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against Coconino as Flagstaff made off with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Flagstaff, who have now won eight games by three goals or more so far this season.
Pueblo's victory bumped their record up to 6-10-1. As for Flagstaff, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0-1.
