Soccer Game Preview: Davidson Academy vs. Liberty Creek

The Davidson Academy Bears will face off against the Liberty Creek Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Davidson Academy is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Nashville Christian on Saturday. Davidson Academy and Nashville Christian finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Liberty Creek played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Glencliff. The outcome might've been different if Landon Socha hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Cash Daniels and Matthew Baker scored both of Liberty Creek's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

With that draw, Liberty Creek's record moves to 3-1-1. Meanwhile, Davidson Academy's record is now 1-3-1.

Davidson Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty Creek when the teams last played back in May of 2023, winning 3-1. Will Davidson Academy repeat their success, or does Liberty Creek has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
