After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sierra Pacific, Washington Union was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 13-9 win over the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Callie Flores made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off 12 hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
