While Ruth Rilometa delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for North Central. Rilometa wasn't messing around, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The game was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Even though Rilometa couldn't lead North Central over Rogers, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolfpack haven't beaten the Pirates recently, having gone 0-9 since April of 2019.
