Baseball Recap: Nolan Catholic Takes a Loss

Nolan Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Lamar. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lamar this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 last Thursday.

Nolan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Lamar, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-9-2.

Nolan Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Mansfield Legacy on the 8th. As for Lamar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Boswell on the 8th.
