Softball Recap: Teaneck Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Teaneck finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 20-2 to the NV - Old Tappan Knights. The Highwaymen have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Olivia Rottner made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

Teaneck's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for NV - Old Tappan, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Teaneck is set to take on their familiar foe Tenafly at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, NV - Old Tappan will challenge rival Pascack Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
