Soccer Recap: New Braunfels Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for New Braunfels's offense. They came up short against the Pieper Warriors on Friday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Unicorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Warriors are ranked 95th).

This is the second loss in a row for New Braunfels and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Pieper, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Coincidentally, New Braunfels and Pieper will both be playing Wagner the next time they take the pitch. Pieper will head out to face Wagner at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while New Braunfels will host them at 5:30 p.m. on February 24th.
