High school football rankings: Graham-Kapowsin finishes No. 1 in final Washington MaxPreps Top 25

Eagles top Evergreen State after 14-0 finish culminates in 44-7 4A finals win over Lake Stevens.

The high school football season in Washington] came to a close over the weekend. Graham-Kapowsin was among the victors with a 44-7 win over Lake Stevens in the 4A title game. That victory helped propel the Eagles to the No. 1 ranking in the final Washington MaxPreps Top 25.

Joshua Wood, the Washington MaxPreps Player of the Year, led the Eagles to the state title with a 171-yard rushing night and two scores. He teamed with senior Zackary Lee (194 yards, two TDs) as Graham-Kapowsin rushed for 506 yards in the championship game.

Dominant all season, the Eagles allowed a scant 74 points while scoring 647, a 46 point per game average.

Bellevue won the 3A crown with a 17-13 victory over Kennewick.
