Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian Academy was the 2-1 winner over Galesburg Christian when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20.

Kharis Loggans paced Calvary Christian Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Loggans got some help from Finley Jackson and her two assists. Finally, Rachel McCoskey kept Calvary Christian Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Calvary Christian Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Galesburg Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 11-12-1 record.

Calvary Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Cornerstone Christian on the 25th. Galesburg Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
