Basketball Recap: McComb Takes a Loss

McComb lost against Arlington back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McComb Panthers were dealt a 68-8 defeat at the hands of the Arlington Red Devils. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

McComb dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Arlington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McComb won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Upper Scioto Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arlington, they are taking a road trip to challenge Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th.
