After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastside Catholic, Ballard was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over West Seattle. The Beavers haven't had any issues with West Seattle recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Wes Manger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
