Softball Recap: Valley's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Valley had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 6-11 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the South Webster Jeeps 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since April 27, 2024.

As for South Webster, they now have a losing record of 7-8. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

For South Webster's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee House, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Lauren Kaltenbach, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

Valley has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Zane Trace on the 24th. As for South Webster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-2 win against Minford on the 28th.
