Basketball Recap: St. Timothy's Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Timothy can now relate to. They took a hard 70-52 fall against the St. Frances Academy Panthers on Thursday. St. Timothy's has struggled against St. Frances Academy recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Heidi Williams was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds for St. Frances Academy. What's more, Williams also posted a 60% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Mone'T Edwards was another key player, going 8-for-15 en route to 20 points.

St. Timothy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-1. As for St. Frances Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-4.

As of now, neither St. Timothy's nor St. Frances Academy have any future games scheduled.
