Basketball Recap: Lafayette County Falls Short of Taylor in the Playoffs

Lafayette County and Taylor squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lafayette County had to settle for second. They fell to the Taylor Tigers 35-29. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 54-49 loss back in January.

Lafayette County's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Taylor, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Lafayette County nor Taylor have any future games scheduled.
