After losing to Glenwood the last time they met, Metamora decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Redbirds put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 47-26 victory on Saturday. The Redbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Glenwood still got an impressive performance from Hope Gilmore, who posted six points and four steals. Karigan Mattews also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Metamora's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Glenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Metamora is taking a road trip to face off against Mahomet-Seymour at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenwood, they will welcome Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Titans their first taste of in-conference action this season.
