Bella Solis made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season. Sophia Longoria was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Pearsall's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Uvalde, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14-1.

Pearsall couldn't quite get it done against Uvalde when the teams last played back in March as they fell 9-5. Can the Mavericks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
