Basketball Recap: Fannindel Skates Past Greenville Christian with Ease

Fannindel had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 35-point drubbing they dealt Greenville Christian on Tuesday. The Fannindel Falcons blew past the Greenville Christian Eagles 59-24. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Fannindel's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalob Runnels, who posted 16 points. Runnels' evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Terren Judkins, who earned 12 points.

Fannindel's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Greenville Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fannindel will venture away from home to take on Dodd City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fannindel is facing Dodd City at the right time seeing as Dodd City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Greenville Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Longview Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
