Burroughs waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Desert Christian Knights by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Burros, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kyla Chilbes paced Burroughs' offense, picking up nine kills. Chilbes got some help from Alexa Santiago and her 24 assists. Jordyn Phillips controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Burroughs' win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Desert Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-1.

Burroughs has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against California City on the 13th. As for Desert Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Kern Valley on the 13th.
