Basketball Recap: Eden Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Propel Braddock Hills last Tuesday, Eden Christian Academy came back down to earth. Eden Christian Academy had to suffer through a 81-45 loss at the hands of the Northgate Flames. If Eden Christian Academy was looking for revenge after losing 73-27 to them when the teams met on Friday, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eden Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Northgate, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Eden Christian Academy and Mercyhurst Prep will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northgate, they will face off against Southmoreland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
