Football Game Preview: Indian River vs. Lake Forest

On Friday Lake Forest take on Indian River at Indian River HS at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.

After having lost a blowout in their game two weeks ago against DuPont, Lake Forest were happy to find some success last Friday. Lake Forest were able to grind out a solid win over Caravel, winning 33-22. No one put up better numbers for Lake Forest than sophomore Isaiah Johnson, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 157 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Indian River lost to Delmar, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-56. Indian River were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.

Lake Forest's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Indian River's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Lake Forest can add another positive mark to their record or if Indian River can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Lake Forest's step.
