Baseball Game Preview: Seymour Panthers vs. Windthorst Trojans

Seymour is 0-10 against Windthorst since April of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Seymour Panthers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against the Windthorst Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Seymour has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Seymour had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Windthorst put an end to it on Tuesday. Seymour lost 19-0 to Windthorst.

Seymour saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton McGough, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

The win made it two in a row for Windthorst and bumps their season record up to 9-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13 runs. As for Seymour, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
