Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Takes a Loss

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica lost against St. Monica back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Seawolves came up short against the St. Monica Mariners, falling 3-0. The Seawolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-23.

Juliam Dowd was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had nine digs.

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Monica, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica will host AGBU at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Monica, they will take on Wiseburn- Da Vinci at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
