Ridgefield got themselves on the board against Hudson's Bay on Friday, but Hudson's Bay never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hudson's Bay Eagles 49-0 on the road. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Spudders this season.

A big part of Ridgefield's win came down to the chemistry between Landon Debeaumont and his top target Cly Stephens. Debeaumont threw for 185 yards and four touchdowns on only nine passes while Stephens gained 173 total yards and a touchdown. Stephens really tore up the turf during one magnificent 99-yard run. Noah Stromberg was Debeaumont's top target, picking up 84 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Ridgefield wouldn't let Hudson's Bay keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Ridgefield can thank Jayden Fisher and Chase Duncan for forcing both of them.

The victory for Ridgefield keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. As for Hudson's Bay, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Ridgefield will look to defend their home field on Friday against Washougal at 7:00 p.m. Both have allowed few points on average, (Washougal: 9.8, Ridgefield: 11.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
