Soccer Recap: Carlisle Gets the Win

After losing to Tenaha the last time they met, Carlisle decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Carlisle Indians had just enough and edged the Tenaha Tigers out 2-1.

Marely Jaime and Sara Garza scored both of Carlisle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Carlisle now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Tenaha, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-3-1.

Carlisle will be taking part in a tournament against Brook Hill at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Carlisle's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tenaha, they will take on New Summerfield in a tournament on Saturday.
