Football Recap: Joliet West Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Joliet West's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost to the Yorkville Foxes on the road by a 27-13 margin. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 31-8 to the Foxes when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Yorkville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was T.J. Harland, who rushed for 94 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, and also caught one TD. Joel Castillo did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 104 receiving yards.

Joliet West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Yorkville, their record now sits at 2-0.

Joliet West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 30-22 win against Plainfield South on the 12th. As for Yorkville, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-13 victory against Minooka on the 12th.
