Basketball Recap: Goodridge/Grygla Takes a Loss

Goodridge/Grygla lost against Warren-Alvarado-Oslo back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Goodridge/Grygla Chargers came up short against the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies, falling 72-52. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Ponies are ranked 67th).

Goodridge/Grygla has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.

Goodridge/Grygla will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th. As for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, they will challenge Clearbrook-Gonvick at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
