After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Naperville Central, Lockport was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Andrew Thunderbolts with a sharp 4-1 win. Considering Lockport have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Andrew with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Kozak (2), Hayden Spodorek, and Gianna Cisneros.

Lockport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Andrew, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4-2.

Lockport and Andrew should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Porters (ranked 23rd) will meet Bradley-Bourbonnais (ranked 174th) at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Andrew will face off against Sandburg at 6:15 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (35 vs. 127).
