Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Hannah Chipego stepped things up a notch to give Lake-Lehman the 'W'. Chipego kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

Coming up, Chipego and Lake-Lehman are taking a road trip to take on MMI Preparatory School at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
