Basketball Recap: Woodsboro Comes Up Short

Woodsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 48-22 to the San Antonio Christian Lions.

Despite the defeat, Woodsboro saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aniya Zena posted 14 points.

Woodsboro's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for San Antonio Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Lytle the next time they take the court. Woodsboro will host Lytle at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while San Antonio Christian will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
