Basketball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe lost against Coahulla Creek back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors fell to the Coahulla Creek Colts 60-54. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe lost, don't look at Champion Bowman. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 13 en route to 14 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Bowman a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Zyan Eastman, who posted nine points and five boards.

Even though they lost, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Gage Voyles was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Coahulla Creek, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-9.
