Softball Recap: Princeton Beats Hayfork for Their Fourth Straight Win

Princeton entered their tilt with Hayfork on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Timberjacks 21-13. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Guadalupe Espinoza, who went 4-for-6 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jada Dillard, who went 4-for-6 with one triple and two RBI.

Espinoza wasn't the only one making solid contact: Princeton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Hayfork, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Princeton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Happy Camp on the 10th. As for Hayfork, they will host Ferndale at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
