Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Americas). They blew past the Monterey Plainsmen 14-1 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Americas and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Monterey, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That lines up perfectly with their 2-12-1 record this season.

Americas will face off against Del Valle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monterey, they will take on El Dorado at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Monterey is facing El Dorado at the right time seeing as El Dorado is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
