Volleyball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson was the 2-1 winner over Buckhorn when they last played one another back in October of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Bucks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Anna Simone paced Wilson's offense, picking up nine kills. Simone got some help from Olivia Bugg Watkins and her 16 assists.

Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 33-12. As for Buckhorn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-14 record this season.

Wilson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buckhorn, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Spain Park on the 11th.
