Zaden Wolf Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Central Valley got the W thanks in part to Zaden Wolf playing the best football he has all season. Wolf rushed for 216 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 57 yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (119) per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

The victory (which was Central Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cougars dukes it out withPalmer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gatlin Reimers Dazzles in Palmer Victory

Gatlin Reimers continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least two rushing touchdowns. He made 19 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Chambers/Wheeler Central's probably not too fond of Reimers given he always seems to get the better of them. Reimers made 26 total tackles the last time he and the Renegades duked it out back in September of 2023.

Cooper Pokorny Crosses Big Stat Threshold

While Chambers/Wheeler Central might've come up empty on Friday, Cooper Pokorny wasn't going down without a fight. Pokorny made a major impact, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.2) per game. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 58 yards.
