Flag Football Recap: Sheldon Huskies vs. Monterey Trail Mustangs

Sheldon won the last time they faced Monterey Trail and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Huskies came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 23-15.

Sheldon found their leader in sophomore Saniah Wiley, who threw for 255 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 36 yards and one touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Sheldon's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Calista Pham and Amaya Clark, who racked up all four sacks between them.

Although Monterey Trail took the loss, they still got scores from Mahallah Ali and Dalis Blackshire.

Meanwhile, Monterey Trail (ranked 119th) will meet Cosumnes Oaks (ranked 345th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
