Soccer Game Preview: Moses Lake vs. Eisenhower

Moses Lake hasn't had much luck against Eisenhower recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mavericks will host the Cadets at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Moses Lake and Wenatchee had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Panthers who were credited with the victory on Tuesday. Wenatchee got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Moses Lake's three. While losing is never fun, Moses Lake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Wenatchee are ranked 15th).

Eisenhower is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Wenatchee, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Eisenhower were already down 4-1.

Moses Lake's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.
