Bacon County needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Santiago Bizzell. The Bacon County Raiders came out on top against the Berrien Rebels by a score of 52-42 on Saturday thanks in part to Bizzell, who posted 18 points along with eight boards and seven assists. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (seven).

Theron Moore was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Bacon County's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-8. As for Berrien, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Bacon County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-54 victory against Fitzgerald on the 14th. As for Berrien, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-51 loss against Brantley County on the 14th.
