Basketball Recap: Irving Takes a Loss

Irving lost against Berkner back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Irving Tigers lost 55-33 to the Berkner Rams. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 829th, while the Rams are ranked 158th).

Irving's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Berkner, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Irving Tigers challenge the MacArthur Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berkner, they will welcome Dallas Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
