Softball Recap: White Oak Falls Short of Mineola in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact White Oak can now relate to. They came up short against the Mineola Yellowjackets on Saturday, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Roughnecks in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost four in a row.

White Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16-1. As for Mineola, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-11-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Yellowjackets beat White Oak by a score of 13-3 later that day.
