Basketball Recap: Merrill Comes Up Short

The Merrill Vandals lost 56-33 to the Beal City Aggies on Thursday.

Merrill's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Beal City, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Merrill will take on Sacred Heart Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Sacred Heart Academy will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Merrill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Beal City, they will challenge Houghton Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
