Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Episcopal School of Jacksonville walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Newberry Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Newberry with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lila Ranalli, Kenzie Wolff, and Darden Ferranti.

The victory (which was Episcopal School of Jacksonville's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Newberry, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Coming up, Episcopal School of Jacksonville is taking a road trip to take on Providence School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Providence School is on a three-game streak of home wins, Episcopal School of Jacksonville a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. Newberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
